About Kadna Anda Illustration

I’m the illustrator and designer behind Kadna Anda, a contemporary art and stationery studio inspired by folk patterns, storytelling, and everyday beauty. I founded Kadna in the heart of Bucharest as a way to explore folkloric motifs through a modern and playful lens. My creative practice was further shaped during my studies at Central Saint Martins, part of University of the Arts London, where I developed my visual language across illustration and design. This experience encouraged me to blend heritage with contemporary aesthetics, creating work that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Kadna is a celebration of art, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling. Through a carefully curated collection of fine art prints, greeting cards, stationery, and jewellery, I create objects that bring warmth, colour, and emotion into everyday life. Each piece begins as an original illustration and is thoughtfully designed to preserve the character, symbolism, and joy behind the artwork. At the heart of my work is a deep appreciation for meaningful objects and slow creativity.
