About Mama Shawna

Mama Shawna is a pet food company born in sunny Southern California out of a passion for cooking homemade organic stews for our four-legged children. Not happy with the heavily formulated and processed foods in most stores, we set out on a mission to create real food for dogs and cats. But not just any food, the first ever 100% Human Grade, USDA Organic, Non-GMO and Certified Gluten Free food for dogs and cats. Every veggie, protein and ingredient has been selected for its nutritional value, and each recipe contains essential vitamins and minerals. The recipes are Stew’d and packed in an FDA & USDA Organic Certified inspected facility, prepared according to the FDA regulations for human food, and uses the same quality ingredients that we would eat ourselves. Each recipe is sealed in a Tetra Pak carton that offers six layers of protection, eliminates the need for added preservatives, has a lower carbon footprint than cans or plastic, is shelf stable and is fully recyclable.
