About Serges Wood Turnings
Hi my name is Serge L'Etoile and I was born in Sherbrooke Canada where I learnt the art of Woodturning from my Dad when I was only 10 years old. I moved to the USA over 45 years ago and because I missed this art so much, I began creating beautiful wooden items again . Now I create all my items in my workshop in Cromwell Ct USA, from a variety of recovered wood types. Many items are hand turned on my Wood Lathe. My beautiful cuttingboards are created from end grain which makes them very durable against knife marks and they will last years and years to come. All my creations are finished with 100% food safe mineral oil or natural bees wax.
