Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, my work is inspired by the beauty, nostalgia, and tranquility of nature. I’m Stacey Moore, a self-taught coloured pencil artist, and my journey began with childhood sketches of the countryside I call home. Though I later pursued a marketing degree, my love for drawing never faded. In 2016, I took a leap of faith, opening my first gallery in Hawes, returning to my true calling. Each piece I create is infused with warmth, connection, and storytelling. My art is more than just aesthetics—it’s about capturing moments that feel like home, whether that’s the charm of British wildlife, the rolling landscapes of Yorkshire, or the simple joys of rural life. Now, as a mother of two, my work has evolved to reflect the themes of family, resilience, and the deep emotional ties we have to nature. My hand-drawn designs have expanded into a range of products, from prints to homeware and gifts, all crafted with an authentic, timeless feel. My goal is to transport people to a place of comfort and nostalgia, where every piece tells a story.
