Specifically, bamboo has exceptional properties and is particularly appreciated by those who care about the environment. It is a fast-growing plant, up to one meter per day, and grows without human assistance. Harvesting occurs every 3-4 years, avoiding the devastating processes of deforestation. Bamboo cultivation has a very low environmental impact, as it consumes ⅓ of the water of most crops and often only requires rainwater with minimal carbon dioxide emissions while emitting a large amount of oxygen.
